śp. Dennis O’Connor

Dennis was someone who would reminisce about London and the UK at the drop of a hat, and yet living in Warsaw he fully immersed himself into Polish culture and Polish history. He would constantly be linking people who may have similar interests, in fact it is thanks to Dennis that i was linked up to a group of musicians in Warsaw. He had the proverbial “street credibility”. He would also go out of his way to help people. Once after a “curry night” he was determined to take the substantial untouched dishes to the Central Railway Station where some homeless and displaced young families from war torn Ukraine were harboring. Never short of a story, Dennis was something of a raconteur and always ready to join a discussion to argue his points as well as take on board the propositions from the other side of the debate. There are many aspects of Dennis that i have not mentioned, so please accept my apologies (you too Dennis). Dennis you will be missed in Warsaw.
